Join Rusty Lake as a Community Manager

Rusty Lake is looking for a Community Manager, to help keep its amazing community engaged, happy and growing. At Rusty Lake, we put as much love in engaging our community as we do in making adventure games. We are now looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and experienced community manager to join our team.

What will you do?

As a community manager at Rusty Lake you will wear many hats: varying from marketing, organizing (online and offline) events, handling our communities and providing support when needed. You will be communicating in a friendly, mature and fun way with thousands of Rusty Lake fans per day on our various social media platforms and Discord/Youtube. You will have to think in creative ways to keep the community engaged, happy and grow during the development of new games and especially around the release of a new game. You will be responsible for building, engaging and maintaining the Rusty Lake fan-base. You will inspire, excite and lead our community and impact millions of players.

Responsibilities:

• - Engaging the Rusty Lake communities in creative and innovating ways

• - Monitor, listen and respond to users in a friendly, mature and fun way
• - Create and manage content (images, video and descriptions)
• - Keep an active stream of communication between the development team and the community
• - Monitor discussions and feedback within fan bases on all channels, including social media channels and app store pages

• - Identify the most common issues based on community feedback
• - Identify and report trends from other gaming communities

Requirements:

• - 2+ years experience in community & marketing
• - Creative and innovating ideas about handling communities
• - Good knowledge of graphic tools such as Photoshop or Video Editing software
• - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• - A team player and someone who is willing to run the extra mile when necessary
• - Able to work at least 32 hours in our office in Amsterdam, the Netherlands
• - Understand memes & appreciate fan art
• - You enjoy the Rusty Lake games :)
